My Story

Hello there! 👋

My name is Kanzbra, and I graduated from The City College of New York with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Shortly after I graduated, I attended a Full Stack Web Development Boot Camp at Columbia University.

During my time at the Boot Camp, I developed a passion for the data side of web development. I became captivated with user behavior, identifying trends, and using data analytics to create solutions.

So to learn more about Data Analytics, I joined a Data Analytics Apprenticeship at COOP where I expanded my data visualization knowledge by learning Tableau & Power BI. I gained some data modeling skills by learning Python and more in-depth Excel and lastly, I advanced my SQL and project presentation skills.

Now I work as a Senior Analyst at WPP, where I focus on Marketing Analytics. My day-to-day consists of building ETLs, joining large amounts of datasets together using SQL, automating workflow, and creating powerful dashboards for reporting and monitoring KPI performance.

I conduct various types of analyses to forecast conversions, understand the impact of new tactics, and identify areas for optimization.

I truly love being a Data Analyst as every day I’m given a new puzzle to sort, analyze, and present.. basically what my solution-oriented mind craves.

I share this love for Data Analytics by being a Part-Time Executive Captain/Mentor at COOP where I teach Excel, SQL, Python, Tableau & Communication skills to the next generation of industry leaders.
